आज शहिद दिवस । सानो छँदा स्कुलमा शहिद गंगालाल, धर्मभक्त, शुक्रराज र दशरथचन्दको नाम सुन्नेबित्तिकै राष्ट्रप्रेमले भावुक बनिन्थ्यो । पछि बुझ्दै जाँदा उनीहरुको योगदान प्रजातन्त्र र खुल्ला समाजको स्थापनार्थ योगदान गरेको बुझ्न थालियो । उनीहरुको बलिदानको महत्व बुझेदेखि कहिल्यै खुल्ला समाज र लोकतन्त्रको बिपक्षमा लागिएन । आजसम्म बिभिन्न स्थानमा रहेर लोकतन्त्रकै पक्षमा वकालत गरिन्छ । समयसँगै चारजना शहिदको संख्यामा अरु पनि थपिन थाले । देशका लागि कैयौ नागरिकले खुन बगाए । लोकतन्त्र र समतामुखि समाजको सपना देख्दै प्राण दिन तयार तमाम वीर योद्धाहरुलाई संझिनु एक नागरिकको कर्तव्य हो । यद्यपी पछिल्लो समयमा चोर, डाँका, फटाहा, लुटेरा, हत्यारा, गुण्डा तथा अपराधीहरुलाई पनि शहिदको कोटामा राख्न, त्यसबाट फाइदा लिने किसिमले बिभिन्न पार्टी, समूहहरु लागि परेका छन् । यसले वास्तविक शहिदको अपमान गर्छ । त्यसैले आजको दिनमा देशका लागि बलिदानी गर्ने वास्तविक शहिदहरुप्रति हार्दिक श्रद्धाञ्जली अर्पण गर्दछु ।

This is my first trip to Souraha this year. I was here in New year 2011 with family however this time I am along and came here to facilitate training journalists on how to work in conflict affected environment. it's 4-day Master training organized by Equal Access for journalists working in district.
This time I found Souraha different than my previous trip. More people but same facility. Rapti has also moved its direction to North bank has contributed people and hotel owners more insecurity than ever. Due to 14 hours loadshedding one can feel disturbed by the noise generated by generators placed in every hotel. It's noisy. A lot light is there which may disturb wild animal to approach to right corner of the river.

People visit Souraha expecting to see wild animal like Rigorousness and Tiger. However it's not easy than expectation. Elephant riding and boating are some amusement here. Souraha is one of best destination people not only from Nepal but also from around the world love to visit here.

'Now Twitter is more popular than Blog', 'Blogging is old fashioned so I am no longer doing blogging.' 'My habit got changed, I cant even write long sentence,I love to write a sentence in 140 words, more than that I feel uncomfortable typing.' - Some representative statements I keep listening from people surrounding me on blog. However I have strong argument that blogging has not dead, but it has began, It's alive, its growing with the growing number of Internet users and citizen journalists. Even now unorganized data source says 1000 + people are doing blog. True, they are all not regular in posting things in blog.

I started blogging sometimes in 2006 when very few people I met and saw, were doing blog. Blogging was my passion. Compiling both personal and professional stories of my life I started uploading posts in this blog. I want to keep continue in posting stories in blog. However my busy schedule has contributed me to be less interactive in blog. I am again promising even today I would do blogging regularly in the day to come.
