News Agencies:
Former Pakistani Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto was shot dead Thursday at a political rally by an attacker who then set off a blast that left 20 others dead. In a year of increasing violence in Pakistan, Bhutto returned home from exile in October to contest parliamentary elections.
Bhutto, 54, survived explosions at her homecoming rally in Karachi that claimed the lives of around 140 people, and there were several reports that she was on militants’ hit lists. She had just finished addressing a rally, was shot in the head and neck before a suicide bomber blew himself up near her vehicle, according to reports from the scene.
Bhutto's assassination could fuel further violence and instability. Her supporters turned violent when she was taken to a hospital in Rawalpindi, chanting slogans like “Killer Musharraf” and smashing vehicles in the area. Musharraf lives in Rawalpindi, a satellite city of the capital Islamabad that hosts the army headquarters.
If the elections proceed, whether Bhutto's Pakistan People’s Party will be able to capture a sympathy vote is debatable.

Nepalnews said that, at least 13 people, including four children, have died and scores of people – some unconfirmed reports claiming up to 600 - have gone missing when a suspension bridge on the Bheri River at Mehalkuna in Surkhet district collapsed Tuesday afternoon.
The people had plunged into the river when the bridge collapsed due to overload at around 13:45 pm. The bridge was overcrowded as hundreds of people were passing through it to participate in a local fair nearby.
Rescuers have recovered 13 bodies so far and the search for other missing people continues. Eight dead bodies were found at the incident site and four others were found on the riverbanks some three kilometers away.
Rescue teams helped some 40 people swim ashore while other 150 are said to have swum on their own. Reports say 20 injured persons have been taken to Surkhet hospital for treatment.
Officials of the Nepal Army, Armed Police Force, Nepal Police and Nepal Red Cross Society along with the local people have been mobilised for rescue works. An army helicopter has also been put on standby for rescue works.

Laughing is a celebration of the good, and it's also how we deal with the bad. Laughing, like crying, is a good way of eliminating toxins from the body. Since the mind and body are connected, you use an amazing amount of muscles when you laugh.

"If human life did not have laughing, that would be boring. Laughing is what makes life fun."

My one friend, a couple of day ago, told me that a child made laugh often more than 1 hundred times in a day, teenager 17 times in a day and when one made laugh at least once in a day its a sign of being older. Identify ownself where you are.
Ishaan Awasthi [Darsheel Safary] is an eight-year-old whose world is filled with wonders that no one else seems to appreciate; colors, fish, dogs and kites are just not important in the world of adults, who are much more interested in things like homework, marks and neatness. And Ishaan just cannot seem to get anything right in class. When he gets into far more trouble than his parents can handle, he is packed off to a boarding school to 'be disciplined'. Things are no different at his new school and Ishaan has to contend with the added trauma of separation from his family. One day a new art teacher bursts onto the scene, Ram Shankar Nikumbh [Aamir Khan], who infects the students with joy and optimism. He breaks all the rules of 'how things are done' by asking them to think, dream and imagine, and all the children respond with enthusiasm, all except Ishaan. Nikumbh soon realizes that Ishaan is very unhappy and he sets out to discover why. With time, patience and care, he ultimately helps Ishaan find himself. On face-value, TAARE ZAMEEN PAR looks like a kiddie film, but as the story unfolds, you realize that the story peeps into the mind and heart of a kid, his interests, his hobbies, his strengths and weaknesses. The director opens the cards at the very outset, when you realize that the kid is just not interested in books/studies. And his interaction with his stern father, doting mother and lovable brother is straight out of life.

Go and see the movie................
There are remarkable grough in not-for-profit and private radio in Nepal since 1997. More than two hundred FM stations have granted licence from Ministry of Information & Communication so far and above hundred among them are in operation. Local people have easy access to voice their concerns through using the medium radio.
Who inspires whom in what extend? It really does matter in every human life. I used to write something when I was in school and campus. I have few friends in Kathmandu. I shared the room with one friend though we were from same village. My writing habit stopped when I got an opportunity to work with FM station just because of I had to spend almost my time with official activities. I got married in six years ago. Since then I forgot to write because I spent my every moments with my wife and rest time in office.

A couple of days ago, my one friend requested me to see the poem. It was in English. It was on relation of life and death and really beautiful one. I inspired by the way of writing. Then I could not stop me to write the poem on "DEATH". My colleagues at office loved that poem. I shared it with some of my good friends. They posted me their comments over email. The poem has been uploaded in my blog as well. Reading the poem I am still receiving encouraging feedback from my colleagues, friends and relatives as well.

I don't think I am a good writer. But thinking about INSPIRATION. Being inspired by other is not easy. But the poem that my friend wrote inspired me to write.
Dear Kale,

I m writing this because I scared last night thinking about the conversation we had at office among the production team. We were in technical training and practical session on studio was conducted during the course of action. We went there. Binayak asked me to go inside along with Jaya ji. We sat just in front of the microphone and started chat as if we were conducting the live presentation. It was just for the practice but we made enough noise and we made all outsider laughing since the topic of our conversation was not other than the single word "DEATH".

As you know about me that I was quite out of scene in any type of creative writing SINCE we got married. The reason you must know behind this was I spent my life with you, I enjoyed with you and I tried my best to make you happy in every moments. Now I am recalling the date we had met first time in Biratnagar when you were taking part the training as "trainee" whereas I was a representative of FM station that was about to start and I was there to looking for potential candidate for the FM and finally we selected you as a key member of FM. Meeting you took a new turn when we decided to get married. It has almost 6 years completed we married and though we have our son I felt alone for the first time in my life last night.

I was at the office as usual and my one fried requested me to read the write up, it was poem in regards to the relation of 'Life and Death". I read through it again and again and then I wrote a poem on the topic "Death". Upendra and Jaya, both told me that it was really good one and then Jaya requested me to talk about my poem on studio while we are doing the practical exercise on how to place the microphone properly. We discussed on the the theme death. We made us laugh and other as usual.

But when I reached to home at night at around 7:00, I thought why we did this today? Is the death matter of discussion in that way? Don't you scare from death? Then I scared that what happen if you or me or our son will...... I could not sleep in well manner. I just think about you and son, but the reality was that I was alone, no one was in my room except Television set and a music was playing on FM set. What was that song you know? Yes It was 'Thorai Thorai Risa Ani Dherai Dherai Maya, Risma Pani Dekhirahanchhu Mayako nai Chhaya..." .. the only one song so that we are together.

Love u n punte n miss u both a lot
Congratulation for your nice poem
Really as you said life is all about death at any time in life.
Difference is that some leave for heavenly peace at young age some little bit latter
All we know is death is enevitable and all mighty
isn't it?
But selfless contribution to the society and the nation is one and only way to remaining living even after the death
Let's choose the path
for our future after death.
And lastly, thanks for serving nice phographs
prabhakar
