17th SAARC summit has concluded in Maldives issuing 20 points 'Addu' declaration. Prime Minister Babu Ram Bhattarai, after attending the summit, is scheduled to arrive Kathmandu tonight at 10 PM. SAARC summit accepted Nepal's proposal to hold 18th summit in Nepal. Prime Minister Bhattarai talked to his Indian counterpart ManMohan Singh in the sideline meeting of SAARC and both agreed to revisit bilateral issues.


नागरिक हत्याको आरोपमा सबोच्चले सजाय सुनाएका सभासद बालकृष्ण ढुङ्गेलको मुद्धा सरकारले फिर्ता लिने निर्णय गरेपछि तातिएको राजनीति सेलाउने संकेत देखिएको छैन । नागरिक उज्जन कुमार श्रेष्ठ हत्यामा संलग्न आरोपीत ढुङ्गेललाई सर्बोच्चले कारावास सजाय सुनाएपनि उनी पक्राउ परेका थिएनन् । हाल आएर माओवादी नेतृत्वको सरकारले उनलाई सफाई दिन प्रयास गरेपछि मुद्धा फेरी बल्झिएको छ । प्रतिपक्षी एमाले र कांग्रेसले मुद्धा फिर्ताको निर्णय कायान्वयन भए सडक तताउने धम्की दिन थालेकाछन् । नागरिक अधिकारकर्मीहरु पनि यसको बिरोधमा जुटेर लागेकाछन् । बिभिन्न लोकप्रीय निर्णय गरेर जनताका प्रधानमन्त्रि बन्न खोजिरहेका बाबुरामलाई पछिल्लो समयमा ढुङ्गेलको मुद्धा फिर्ता लगायत अरु केही अलोकप्रीय निर्णय र कार्यान्वयनका लागि गरेका प्रयासले बिस्तारै ओरालो झार्दैछ ।
